Very good Sunday lunch. I went with 3 other people, a lunch stop during a Sunday country walk. We had 2 roast beef and one belly pork lunches, and a soup. All the meals were well cooked and tasty, enjoyed by everybody. The 'Proper job' ale was good too. The staff were friendly and efficient, a great Sunday afternoon experience.

Great local pub serving quality home made food with a smile (behind the Covid-19 mask!). Having stopped by on a Thursday I had to have a pie (Thursday is pie night) and I can't remember the last time I had such a tasty, rich beef pie. Delicious.

My family and I have visited quite a few pub / restaurants in this area and thought we would give this a try. We arrived to very welcoming staff whom made us feel very comfortable and the atmosphere is lovely. Sadly the food was not as nice as we was expecting, my wife and mother had burgers that were over cooked with the cheese burnt. I had Haddock and chips that was ok at best. This said, we will give it one more try as things do go a little-wrong sometimes and it is a lovely place. The cocktails look amazing and great to watch the guys making them.
