Very incompetent HR, never replies or answers her phone. Very poor communication internally and externally. The whole management of the school requires reviewing. Did not expect this from CO-OP as their standards are usually quite high!

3/03/2020 Both my children one in year 9 and other in year 7 have moved from another school. Wow what a fantastic place, 4 weeks they have been there and what a difference. The staff are polite and helpful, strict but fair. Will highly recommend the school
Both of my children attended Coop Academy Walkden. The teachers care about the students and will go out of their way to offer extra support and guidance to help them achieve the best results. As a member of staff of the school and a parent - I see any issues being dealt with quickly and effectively. I also see students visiting school after they have left year 11, wishing they could come back, so they’re obviously getting it right!
This school will push there pupils hard to get the grades they can achive. There teaching staff are amazing and will help any pupil who will ask for it. They have numerous extra curricula activity there pupils can sign up for a swell. In addition to this they have a fantastic support system young people with any for of mental or physical problems and can accommodate for them.
Fantastic school.... many students come away with a lot of A to C grades. Staff work closely with parents. The use of technology and Apps is great... you can keep an eye on your children's progress and behaviour streight to your phone...as top up your child's dinner money card online... they also send out your child's report streight to your mobile device.
