Contact Theatre Reviews | Rating 4.6 out of 5 stars (5 reviews)

Contact Theatre is located in Manchester, United Kingdom on Oxford Rd. Contact Theatre is rated 4.6 out of 5 in the category art center in United Kingdom. Contact is Manchester’s provocative and innovative performance venue situated in the heart of the city’s busy Oxford Road Corridor (a short walk from both Manchester Museum and The Whitworth). The venue’s distinctive towers make it one of Manchester’s most unique architectural gems and the interior includes a 300 seat main auditorium, a 70 seat flexible studio, rehearsal and gallery spaces, and a café bar. Contact is the national contemporary arts organisation that places young people’s decision-making and leadership at the heart of everything, and young people aged 13+ work alongside its staff in deciding its programme of theatre, dance, spoken word, music, comedy and visual art. The result is a remarkable, diverse and exciting programme for everyone – whatever your age. The venue is currently undergoing a £6.75million refurbishment, and will re-open to the public in 2020. While the transformation takes place Contact is presenting events and projects across Greater Manchester as part of its IN THE CITY programme.

Great venue for the arts with lots going all the time. I went for the hip-hop acts, rapping and b-boys breakdancing. Definitely recommended

I love Contact Theatre. My partner informed them it was my 30th birthday and they really made me feel special when we went to see Mothers Ruin in December. The staff are fantastic, the place is quirky and there is always something for everyone.
