I loved living here. The front gate never works though. It's pretty safe though as people don't tend to come into the gated area. But if you live close to the pathway that goes by Spar toward the park then chances are you'll get scum shouting or throwing things. Chances are you'll see an old man with a motorbike, just be careful around him. He's called Derek. We were warned about him being a know it all and a backstabber but we thought he was nice. Until he stabbed us in the back. Don't trust him. If you're anywhere near him he will find a way to tell you about his motorbike even if you don't want to hear it. He will take any information you give him about yourself to use as ammo against you. If you have a pet, he will be the first to call the company who owns the properties in SWC or your landlord. I believes he's in number 29. He's the flat with the camera in the window pointed at his beloved midlife crisis. If you're female he will insist you sit on the bike and he will tell you how he has had women on the back moaning from the vibrations of the bike If you avoid him then you'll probably love it here. Spar is around the corner which is handy and there's some lovely ladies who work there. There's a park, a school, two nurseries, a post office, two doctors, a church, a vets, a funeral director... I think that's it for things you can get to within a 5 minute slow walk. There's a few busses around here and a tram stop just behind the church. Be aware though that the cameras on the outside of the building are dummy cameras.

This place is good residential complex in Manchester, quiet, peaceful and full of greenery. Walkable distance from Bus/Tram Station.
Visited a friend. Nice apartment but the stairway stank of cat per and has done for months
