It couldn't have been a more comfortable experience. Terrific, timely and attentive service from all the staff. Professor Sheen and Dr Choudary were very professional and proficient. Post-Ops they took the time to keep see how I was and ensured I was well informed and calm.

Having previously undergone a left sided inguinal hernia repair operation in 2009 I became aware of feeling similar symptoms in my right groin area. Following a visit to my GP this was confirmed and subsequently a consultation was arranged at my local NHS hospital in November 2020. I was made aware that there may be a substantial waiting time for the operation and the hernia was becoming more painful, so I decided to research private Consultants which led me to Professor Aali Sheen. From the initial consultation an operation date was arranged for a few weeks later. I attended as a day case at the BMI Alexandra Hospital Cheadle and from the time I arrived the whole process was seamless, professional and communication was first class. I came out later that day after surgery feeling in little pain and confident that the operation had been a success. I am presently at home recovering from a very large ventral hernia repair, the surgery was carried out at Manchester Spire Hospital by Professor Sheen and Mr. Paul Goldsmith Having been diagnosed with the hernia I contacted the Spire in Manchester and was put in contact with Mr Goldsmith and Professor Sheen. Throughout the process from initial assessment, to surgery and post surgery follow up their care has been excellent. I was fully informed through out the process regarding how the surgery would be carried out and what to expect afterwards I can not thank Professor Sheen and Mr. Goldsmith enough for their care and professionalism throughout the whole process

I was treated by Prof Aali Sheen for a lingual hernia. Due to the COVID backlog I elected to pay for the treatment myself as potentially I would have had a long wait on the NHS. Treatment was arranged quickly and the procedure under general anaethestic took less than an hour. I was admitted at 7am and was discharged at 3pm. The scarring was minimal with no dressing, (the incision was 'glued') which meant I could shower. I was cycling within a week and fully active within two to three. Very pleased

I would like to thank Prof Sheen for dealing with my bilateral inguinal hernia repair so swiftly and professionally. Having been diagnosed with an inguinal hernia on my right side, I elected to pay for treatment due to the NHS waiting times caused by COVID-19. When I met Professor Aali Sheen at the consultancy he confirmed the first hernia but also identified a smaller inguinal hernia on the left. Treatment was arranged within two weeks. I was admitted at 7:00am and discharged at 4:30pm. The three small incisions were glued and no wound issues encountered. Within a week of the procedure I was walking a mile a day and in the month since the procedure I have walked around 45 miles. Thank you.

Would just like to thank professor Sheen on repairing left side.iguana hernia which he also checked and repaired the right side as well as I had no pain on that side but would have had problems later . Also the recover was quick only on pain killer for day and half big thanks mr Lester
