The staff here are fantastic at their job it is a complete shame to hear that the6 are on such low wages for the amount of work it seems that the6 are doing when they are managing the different sections of the carvery/ pub. The chefs are great and the food is always of high quality. They have recently started to do takeaways which I think was a fantastic idea on behalf of the kitchen. Well done to all the workers here you’re all doing amazing. I hope you all have a nice Christmas

Always excellent food in here, BUT ALWAYS book ahead as it's very popular and you WILL be waiting otherwise.
Brilliant carvery and good food from the menu. The building is very nice and with it having small rooms feels very cosy and personal. Have walked down here a few times for the odd drink. Is a robbinsons brewery so not the best beer but there is larger available.
Staff were amazing tonight in this heat!!! Special mention to Dan and joshy who were running around as usual making everyone welcome, even though the heat was taking its toll on them!! Well done guys each and every one of you. Love it here, and missed through lock down so much. See you definitely again soon x
