Valley & Vale Homes have been operating for a number of years with subsidiary groups. We’ve been building various types of homes varying from single flats to multimillion-pound houses and everything in between. At Valley & Vale our board of directors’ are made up of people from all walks of life, all parts of the country and various parts of the world. The board consists of people from companies such as Jardine Matheson – a major international operation – as well as Bloor Homes and Bellway Group. We pride ourselves on our understanding of the housing market. We don’t just build houses, we make houses homes. An important part of our process is to ensure we provide homes that are in desirable areas and make these affordable. We concentrate on providing homes that ordinary people and their families can afford to live in. We’re looking at being the national house builder to fill the gap between the 120,000 houses built per year and 360,000 needed to keep up with the demand in the UK. We build all over the country. At the moment, we are concentrating on the North of England and areas that are in high demand such as Ditsbury, Cheedle, which are places within commuting distance to the bigger cities. One of our developments being in Ribble Valley has proven to be very popular. The Ribble Valley is an area of outstanding natural beauty; it has a series of villages but is within commuting distance of Manchester Central, Liverpool and Leeds. If you want to work in the city but have a home that’s a bit more rural and a little bit quieter – that’s what we provide.
