This Maplin branch employs staff that are extremely knowledgeable on the products they are selling, offer a well presented store with a convenient layout. (Albeit changing often, like many stores of this type.) I find the staff to be friendly, and the help they provide to be more than satisfactory to the specific needs I had to address. If one member of staff didn't know a specific answer, they would always find one who did Instead of making something up on the spot, which I know certain other stores have staff which are guilty of that. Overall, a well presented store, with well presented staff.

Great customer service, the man was very helpful and talked us through the product we wanted to purchase in detail. Very friendly. Products were quite expensive but that would be the same in any other shop selling the same things. Nice range of electronic items!

Poor product support for reduced items and the 30 day money back guarantee is exchange not refund in my case. Had to leave the shop twice due to 2 members of staff attempting to throw incorrect technical knowledge around. If your going to try and explain something technical to a technical customer.....I expect for at least to be remotely factual. Will not be using Maplins again for my business. Shame really
Late opening is useful and it's always handy to be able to get something you forgot to order from online shops, if they've got it that is, it's a shame they don't sell proper lead-based solder.
