What a sorry site to see a great store close. Even in the last few days the staff are putting a smile on and very helpful.
Great electrical shop as they have had everything I've ever called in for (within the electrical requirements). Staff are very helpful, found myself having a full conversation with two members of their staff now.

Bought an aerial from the store which was due to be fitted buy the maplin team all went well until the people turned up to fit it. This is where it all went downhill they were very unprofessional a just didnt want to do the job making the excuses that they couldnt get access to the rear of the house ( there was someone at home and they did have access ) they then said that the aerial wasnt able to be fitted on the chimney ( its were the current aerial is fitted and has always been fitted ). They left after being here less than 10 minutes without leaving any paperwork to say the job couldnt be completed. Dont ever use the company to get things fitted feel sorry for the staff in store who dona great job
