The above character reference of me was wrong. I had told Brian I don’t work on his type of engine. Brian was very persistent in getting it done regardless of what I had said. Sometimes I wish should of just said no. So sorry for your upset. I had worked on Brians boat previously for gas work which I did when I said I would. I will say though I did have to send Brian reminders for payment which did finally come through.

Marcus was recommended to me as a brilliant and reliable engineer. Our boat broke down near Theale and Marcus quickly responded to our call. He quickly identified the fault (fuel injection pump seized) and put everything in place for the pump to be refurbished. He carried out a complete fuel polish, refitted the pump and confirmed all was well. Marcus is a highly professional engineer, likeable and I would highly recommend him for any boat related engineering needs.

Although Marcus eventually spoke to me on the phone and requested some info regarding my request to quote me to supply and fit a new raw water pump on my Broom 39, for some reason he failed to respond to any of my texts or e-mails. Eventually I just gave up and got another engineer to carry out the work. Apart from being completely unprofessional it was downright rude. I would not recommend him on the basis of his poor communication and lack of interest.
