We’ve just had cod and chips from the takeaway here and it was the best cod and chips we’ve had. It was ready at our desired pick up time. It was fresh and hot but not greasy. Great value for money. We will definitely return and will definitely recommend.

Good place to go for fish and chips, only doing click and collect at the moment due to covid restrictions. Definitely worth a visit for freshly cooked food.

What an amazing experience! We reserved a table at The Buoy and Oyster after a close friend recommended it to us and we were not disappointed. We sat on the terrace for a late lunch which has an incredible view over Margate Beach and gorged ourselves on the most delicious selection of fresh seafood! Every dish was brilliant and the cocktails were too! I highly recommend the Buoy Bowl and the market crab, but based on our snooping of what others had ordered next to us all of the dishes looked fantastic! The staff were also excellent throughout and they provided some fantastic recommendations on what to order. This made our experience all the more enjoyable! I highly recommend that you stop into the Buoy and Oyster if you're taking a trip to Margate. You won't be disappointed!
The place is wonderful. They’ve got a nice terrace overlooking the water, but make sure to book early to get a spot outside as seats are limited. The food was really fresh and the staff were very friendly. Went for my wife’s birthday, and it didn’t disappoint. Good value too
Had a birthday celebration at Buoy and Oyster today, the staff were wonderful and the food was absolutely delicious and fresh! We had the beetroot starter and the fried pickles, both delicious, with the fried pickles, being the best we've had. For mains we had the mussels, king prawns and buoy bowl. All 3 were super fresh and very tasty. Very good portions and nice little touches like giving the birthday girl a birthday post card. The view is also lovely. Highly recommended!
