Really nice fish and chips, though nothing outstanding. Reasonably priced and generous portions as shown in the picture. If you’re looking for a place with a good atmosphere, then you’re probably better looking elsewhere, the inside seating feels quick ‘fast foody’. No complaints with the food though and would recommend the home made sauces.

Lovely fish and chips but one question. I noticed on my till receipt you have charged an additional 15% VAT on top of the food total.? I have never seen this before and I thought it was now 5% until Jan 2021?
Friendly staff and decent social distancing in place. Average portion sizes, decent fish and chips, vastly overpriced. Perhaps if they just had one person make up the order instead of two (one salting and one vinegaring I kid you not) then they wouldn't have to charge so much (3 for a lousy jumbo sausage that costs 10p at cost!?)
Excellent takeaway. Fish freshly cooked. All social distancing regulations adhered to.
Expensive for portion size and quality, 9.50 for fish n chips and portion was more like mini sized fish and chips. Happy to pay that price for more/ better. Fish batter was soggy and undercooked in my opinion, chips were soggy but tasted burnt...? Would try another fish n chip shop next time.
