Been coming to this chip shop for a number of years. However today I ordered a well done cod, chips, steak pie and peas. The cod was almost raw, slime for batter, and I didn't realize I had to warm up the pie at home, it was stone cold. Fish was given to the dogs, they even turned their noses up at it.. Come on Marina, you are better that this.

I did give 5 stars originally. But recently the portion sizes have got smaller and smaller. The quality is great, but I'm not willing to spend money on portions like the attached photo. I won't be returning.

The best around, fresh food even cooked my scolop to order. The fish is really white and fresh not like some where there fish if yellow. Taste is really good they have all covid save measures in place, will use time and time again can't fault at all.

In the restaurant it's about 11-12 for a main. A good-sized portion so great value. Pensioner deal cheaper, a bit smaller, but includes a pudding. Excellent quality fish and everything beautifully cooked. Good service and the whole place is bright, clean - and fish themed! Not overly busy on the Saturday lunch we were there but apparently Sunday can be busier.
