I chose Maritime Properties off the back of some amazing reviews and I have to say that, 6 months into letting my property with them, they have been truly excellent. Everything from the tenant-finding process to preparing my property to let has gone smoothly. I have had some big issues with with the boiler and shower in the flat, but again, they have sorted these out quickly and their contractors have been brilliant. I know that the tenants have really appreciated their prompt responses to these issues too. They always answer calls/e-mails quickly, and aside from all being very nice people to deal with, they are true experts in property management and have given me some great general advice on dealing with issues with my freeholder and management company. So I would not hesitate in recommending them both as a letting agent and landlord!

Experience could have been better. Handling the formalities was smooth and effortless online and Tilly continues to provide excellent customer service in a professional, polite and precise manner. Tilly 5/5, but overall service 4/5. We have a couple of urgent items still waiting to be handled after 5 weeks of moving in, but we are confident they will be sorted as well. ----------- Update after 11 months since moving in: Have to drop the rating to 2/5, since some essential items was left unhandled. Our keyhole cover had come off as we moved in. Asked to have it fixed, but after several attempts we never received an answer/action. Also we were given the wrong mailbox key, asked to have it changed several times, no answer. For 11 months we had to use a stick and a piece of tape to fish our mail from the mailbox. Nice! We also were given a key for the dumpster room (empty), to which Maritime promised to get the sorting bins, we would have to use the bins at the house next door for the time being. After 11 months there were still no bins in our property. As we started the moving out process, everybody was happy to help. We felt like for the time we lived in the apartment no one wants to ensure things being nice and sound for the tenants. Moving in and moving out was still pretty effortless. I don't usually write reviews, but I had to update this, since I got a notification from Google that people are reading this - so I had to update. If these minor things had been sorted, experience would have been 4/5.
