After a recommendation from Land Rover assistant guy I thought I would give Marshall Bury st Edmund a try. Sadly usual Marshall booking in procedure by call centre. Greeted straight away by service lady and went through the service details and updates. Left car there at this ford garage with a landrover service section, received phone call at four that the car was ready and picked up at five all sorted! This is one of the first time Marshall’s have contacted me in ten years before you have to chase them. Picked car up with same greeting as before and a refreshing change the parts department is literally next to the service desk instead of upstairs tucked away when you need some parts. The man on the parts desk was helpful too!! Left this small ford garage but brilliantly staffed building very happy. It is sad that every new style Land Rover building especially Cambridge no one wants to acknowledge you and help you with your requirements. Thanks Marshall Bury st Edmunds I will be back

Great service. I had a problem where the seal on my drivers door has become displaced so dropped in without an appointment. Problem fixed within 10 mins and I was back on the road.

Jamie on Land Rover Service is very good. I've had numerous dealings with him over the past few years and he is helpful, polite and always goes that extra yard. Look after him because he is exception rather than the norm.

Last Wednesday (3rd April) I arrived home and saw on my engine management screen the amber message ‘exhaust filter nearly full please drive at over 40mph for 20 mins to clear’. No problem I thought as I was travelling to Diss the following afternoon which is about 30 minutes each way. So I went to Diss but as I arrived back home the amber message was now red reading ‘engine filter full contact your dealer’. I phoned Land Rover Assist who came out to my home very quickly but couldn’t fix the problem as the technician got a reading of 47 and this was above the threshold of 40 that he could reset. The technician asked me what dealership I would like my car to go to and I said Marshalls Bury St Edmunds so I was told that Land Rover Assist would call Marshalls,arrange a courtesy vehicle and I would be contacted to say when I would take my car to Bury. At around 5.45 Land Rover Assist called me to say that Marshalls did not have a courtesy car available but Inchcape Norwich did the next day so I agreed to take my car there. To cut a very long story short Inchcape diagnosed and fitted a new exhaust and whilst I was there I purchased a set of mats for my Evoque, booked an annual service/brake fluid change and saw a very nice brand new Evoque (S D150 mild hybrid) and am currently discussing buying this. The point I am making if it is not clear is that by someone at your branch saying ‘no courtesy car available’ you have missed out on some serious work which must run in to thousands if you include the profit on the new car alone I emailed Des Graham and Tim Griffin about this 2 working days ago and I have not even had the courtesy of an acknowledgement

Jamie is a credit to this service centre and a pleasure to deal with. I am always left impressed by his attentiveness, professionalism and willingness to help. Don't let the basic appearance of this service centre fool you - far, far better than the 'proper' Cambridge outfit
