One of the rudest jewelers I have ever spoken to, if not the rudest. (I mean look, he's reviewing himself as 5 stars on here)
I've used Marshalls for years now. It's great to have a local jobbing jeweller. I've always found them really helpful and polite and trust their advice. Their work is of a high quality. I referred a lady to them to repair her damaged wedding ring, after her own jeweller told her this sentimental piece wasn't worth repairing. Marshalls did such a great job at such a reasonable price, she rang me to sing their praises, and told me she'd told all her friends what a good job they'd done. They are also very reasonably priced, and can make bespoke pieces. Definitely worth a visit, and invariably includes a friendly chat!
My husband took my engagement ring to be cleaned, and it has never looked better! It was a very reasonable price and was cleaned within 30 minutes. I then took our wedding rings to be polished, both done in 30 min. They now look brand new. I will be back to use them again to take care of my jewellery and to buy more. An excellent local jewellers!
Great service and products
I asked Steve if he could do a commision for me, it was two rings from two special people no longer alive, to be made into one bespoke ring. This meant a lot to me and would then be passed to my daughter. I had an idea of how I wanted it to look but was of course nervous about breaking them apart. Steve listened and understood my ideas and gave me suggestions. I collected it last week and it's stunning! Exactly as I had imagined it, actually better than that! It's truly beautiful so thank you Marshalls of Tutbury. I wholeheartedly recommend them and will be returning, thank you. Rose Jones
I gave this guy my watch 18 months ago. I've been working away, I've got his original texts about my watch. I text him today asking to collect my Armani watch and he replied with "I don't know where your watch is" So I replied with "you said it was secure in your safe" To which he replied "I don't know anything about your watch " Which is funny given my receipt of texts from this guy in the past and his first response. Not the brainiest of people! So I've reported him to the Police and Trading Standards. So we'll see how he thinks he'll escape this theft!
Had an item of jewellery made for me by steve. Couldn't be happier. Customer service is brilliant. Very professional . Definitely recommend.
