A lovely afternoon paddling down the canal with Chris.
Chris took us on a caving outing in March. He was a fantastic guide - friendly, fun and safe. He gently encouraged us to push our limits and was supportive in helping us through some (optional) tight spaces. We had a wonderful morning.
We went on our trip today with Chris, great fun and luckily the most beautiful weather. It was partly very calm and so we were able to take in the scenery, but also threw in a few challenges as well which made it exciting. It doesn't matter if you've never been before as some of us hadn't , Chris was a great teacher. We did approach a grumpy fisherman on the way, but we also met a nice one. Would recommend this for some fun on your summer holidays! Thanks Chris
Wonderful day out on the River Derwent this weekend! Chris taught us novices some basic techniques and we enjoyed a gentle trip down with just enough challenging bits to keep it exciting. He even helped us to spot a Kingfisher who was travelling down ahead of us. Beautiful Autumnal scenery all the way. Highly recommended.
