Martin and Ann deserve a Michelin star or two. Their chocolates are worth travelling for - they are that good. They make art that is almost too good to eat. But do eat them. All of them. We’ve been lucky enough to travel the globe and eat a fair amount of nice chocolates. Taylor-Wilde beats them all.

Brilliant little chocolatier with a mixture of beautiful and tasty creations! Worth a visit if you’re in Cromford and like chocolate. I don’t always like chocolate, but do like a piece especially dark when I’m in mood for some. Such a welcoming little shop and workshop where you can see the chocolatier making his creations. He was so lovely, he even gave me something he had just made, which reminded me of my youthful days I miss villages, especially having been brought up in one, feeling the pull to move back to the suburbs now and then.
Delicious artisan chocolates, with some unique flavours.
What can I say, the chocolates are simply amazing! It is a must visit anytime you are in Cromford!

Taylor - Wilde’s in Cromford is more than just a chocolatiers, you can even watch as the chocolates are being handmade in the kitchen/workshop at the back of the shop. My wife has to follow a gluten free diet but the vast majority of the chocolates made here are gluten free. Considering the chocolates produced here are handmade they remain remarkable value for money. We have been popping into Taylor Wilde’s for two years now and have never been disappointed with any of the chocolates purchased here, (Beautifully presented too). I can think of only one disadvantage of buying handmade chocolates from this wonderful little shop …. Once you have savoured them, generic mass manufactured chocolates will never seem the same, and you won’t want to buy those ‘so average’ factory made ones again. Just as an aside, if you are too hot to eat chocolate this summer, his homemade ice-cream is to die for. Highly recommended.
The chocolate here really is incredible! Hand-crafted by an engineer turned chocolatier (Martin) and lovingly introduced by warm and engaging front-woman (Anne), Taylor-Wilde is well worth a visit for a sample, a chat and most likely a small box of goodies to enjoy later. Highly recommended!
