Visited here many times. Nice beach with reasonable access. Its an easy walk to Culzean castle with the tide out. Its a long route when the tide is fully in because you can't cut the corner due to sea being fully in. Super place on a nice day. Its not great for Kayaking but you can get parked very close to the beach making getting on the water much easier than most other locations along this stretch of coast line.

A lovely one mile long beach near Culzean Castle which can be seen in the distance. Easy navigated to. Car parking is available at the top of the road or down by the beach at the end of the road. Always check the tide times before going as the Tide can come in sooner than the times stated. Two holiday parks are located near the beach. One at the top of the road Culzean Holiday Homes and one at the bottom Croyburnfoot Caravan Park beside the beach . The nearest big towns would be Ayr which is 10.9 miles away and Girvan which is 14.2 miles away. The road can be narrow so caution is advised incase you meet other vehicles. But there is parts to pull into if necessary. Can be windy at times. Can be Jellyfish on the beach at times so caution for dogs.

A Picturesque beach with clean sands. - Carpark can be busy and mayhem at peak times - Road down is narrow with passing points - Visiting in off peak times is adviced - Will always go back if in area.
