If I could give 0 stars I would. I've just been to the emergency as I was 5 weeks pregnant, bleeding and all they did was tell me to go back home and rest as the early pregnancy department closes at 9pm (it was 8pm), they said there was nothing they could do at night and weekends. What kind of emergency is that? I came back home to loose my baby because they didn't believe me when I said I was loosing, told me to come back when I'm changing my pad every 30mins... Had the audacity of saying that every pregnancy is different and it could be period, I know my body, I know what I'm feeling, I know how a period cramp feels and it was not it! I would never recommend Medway Hospital, I was shocked how they just don't care, they had no empathy for anyone in the emergency.

I was sent here by my doctors and you get fast tracked from A and E which stated between 19 and 59 mins in A and E they then get you to be sent to a ward, you think great NO you then sit on the ward for hours and hours everyone else not knowing what's going on just left in a waiting room- I've currently been hear for over 5 hours and only had my blood pressure done and still waiting a Doctor- Not 1 seen anywhere for hours disgraceful service we should be informed the wait is so long then we could get food etc not sit stating at blank wall

Over the years there has been a vast improvement with cleanliness. Waiting times can vary depending on how busy they are. The staff work hard and do their best
