There is a small parking area where you can leave your car and walk from. The view across the valley towards the Eildon Hills is quite stunning. It is well worth a quick visit if you are in the area. There are some benches to sit on and admire the view from. No other facilities here.

Nice place to stop for a break, with fantastic views. It was really clear that day that we even saw the river Tweed and all of the Eildon hills. Now I understand why it was one of Walter Scott's favourite places.
An expansive view across the Eildon Hills easily accessed from the roadside where there is also a car parking lay-by. This shot was taken on a chilly December morning in 2017 as the morning sun rose behind me and lit up the landscape in a weak, warm glow.
This palace is really worth a visit. Externally interesting lovely location, good walled garden nice visitor centre
Beautiful scenic spot. Stunning views and definitely worth a visit even if you are just dropping by. Lovely benches and sloped grass area to take in the rolling hills and watch the birds of prey soaring over the valley below. Also good car parking spaces!
