Words cannot express enough the role Stuart played in Mum's service. His compassion, listening, humour and talent for capturing the essence of Mum's life made it a wonderful experience for everyone. He took care of the finer details, leaving me to be able to be with my family at this sad time. Family and friends took part in person and remotely, and we are all unanimous in our praise of Stuart, from as far away as New Zealand. and the US, South Africa and the West Country in the UK. From the first time we met Stuart we were made to feel at ease. He was professional & compassionate and with his experience we were able to create the funeral service that Mum deserved . He took the time to listen to us & read everything we said about Mum so that it felt like he knew her personally. Thanks to Stuart it was a beautiful service and everything ran very smoothly .
We used Stuart as our wedding celebrant on 12th October and were so pleased with his service. We were searching for a celebrant for quite a while, as we were looking for someone who would match our personalities, and who could provide a more relaxed take on a traditional service. Stuart met with me and stayed in regular contact, sharing drafts of the service and making any amendments. Stuart provided a ceremony that was humorous, personal yet still kept it simple, as we had requested. Many of our guests told us how they had enjoyed the ceremony and that is was very 'us'. I fully recommend Stuart as a wedding celebrant.

I had never experienced using a Memoriant for a funeral service before and was so pleased with the service I received from Stuart, for my aunt's funeral. I wanted a service that reflected her religious persuasion but without being overly religious in content. Stuart achieved this balance perfectly. He listened to me and made helpful suggestions, but always respected my choices, so that the funeral followed the direction that was important to me and how I wanted it to run. He was respectful, professional and extremely patient, especially around my very specific music requests. The loveliest thing was how Stuart's words sounded as though he had really known my relative. I thank him for playing such an important part in making my aunt's funeral special.
We chose Memoriant and Stuart Blakemore as the celebrant for my father's Cremation Service based on personal recommendations. He was absolutely superb. I would recommend him to anyone with no reservations. Stuart worked with all the family to extract the many and varied stories of my father's life, stitched them into a beautiful eulogy and advised us on everything from hymns, to crematorium choice, to the balance of the Order of Service. Given the covid-19 restrictions, many of the family and friends of my father joined on the webcast and the wonderfully creative eulogy - built around one of my father's more unusual stories - was uniformly remarked upon as truly celebrating a rich life. Any funeral service is a tough time for the family - Stuart made it as easy as it could be; and ensured we had an extraordinary and fitting memory of my father's life. We are enormously grateful to him.
