Oh no it’s closed down! This was a great place under the management of Jason and Charlie, now under new management it has gone down hill and closed. Under the previous owners they were a quirky wine bar that served great food using local and season produce. They would also always go that extra mile to make your event or just your meal special. Situated in swan street right in the middle of Warwick the location was perfect. Oh what a shame. Maybe they can someone will pick this place up and make a go of it. Was highly recommended

This was the second time we’ve had Sunday lunch here since the change of ownership. Can’t praise them highly enough. The food was fabulous the wine reasonably priced and delicious and the staff very friendly without being over attentive. Merchants had been off our radar for some time but now looks like becoming a regular Sunday treat. Great value for money and better than some more expensive restaurants within walking distance. Thanks again.

What a great find! On our way through Warwick, we decided to stop in for some lunch. It was absolutely empty so we were a bit skeptical, but they had a great set lunch menu so we thought we'd give it a go. I'm glad we did! The service was top notch and the food delicious. We had the lunch set menu, three course, and were not disappointed. Would definitely recommend the place will will come again if ever in the area.
Fantastic establishment and customer service. Very accommodating for the evening I arranged (50 people) and the quality of food provided was great. Would definitely recommend Merchants for any special event.

My wife booked a party for my 40th, to take place in a few weeks’ time, placing a 50 deposit. We’ve been repeatedly trying to get in touch with the venue to finalise some details, but our calls and emails have gone unanswered for weeks. In a bid to try and speak to someone, I went to the venue only to be greeted by a sign saying the bar is “closed until further notice due to refurbishment”. I appreciate that emergencies can happen, requiring action to be taken swiftly, but when I arrived, it didn't look like there was much refurbishment going on. However, if that is the case, then we’re disappointed that we weren’t given the courtesy of being told. Have you gone out of business, Merchants? How do we get our money back?
I was a guest at an evening business meal in the upstairs room. Food and service was very good. Room was a noisy with conversation, maybe needs some morecsoft furnishings to quieten it down.
