HM Revenue and Customs has announced the closure of the Warrington Office, located at Mersey Bank House, Barbauld Street, Warrington. The reason given for this closure is what it calls ‘expensive, isolated and outdated’ offices. It is part of the wider HMRC modernisation programme which sees regional offices being created in Livepool and Manchester.
