. Forum / Travel Gadgets and Gear “Best option for Sim card?” Claire M · 1 forum post today, 16:03 Hi everybody, I'll be travelling in Europe for 9 weeks toward the end of the year. I'm coming from South Africa so don't have any sort of European/UK sim card at this stage. I'm wondering what the best option is for travel in Europe? I'm going to be in Ireland, England, Scotland, Italy and Spain. I'll also be in Budapest, Krakow and Prague briefly (but a sim not vital here). I know I'll have wifi access but would also like to be able to send a whatsapp or two while I'm out during the day. Any advice on a sim that can be used over this length of time, in all of these locations, and predominantly for data.
