Great communication in spite of current circumstances under Covid-19. The sales member I communicated with, Jonathan Elliot, was great and always on hand to answer any questions. But most importantly explained everything in detail for the best understanding. Extremely happy with the service.

Great service. Not pushy sales. Willing to do a deal. Two used cars from here in last year. Golf and a polo. Both spot on. Great build quality and drive great. Good service on follow up to!

Absolutely disgusted with the service I have received from the manager Gary as well as the Lookers customer care team. Gary sold me a used car he promised would be in perfect condition when it arrived - no scratches, no dents, no issues. The car that arrived has a completely different colour paint on the bumper to the rest of the car. It had numerous scratches and dents. Gary agreed to pay for the repairs. I accepted the car and paid for the road tax. The green slip was never sent however Gary sent the required info needed to do this. I then went to get quotes for the repairs. Gary guaranteed it would be around 150 for a buff and polish. The quotes I received ranged from 800-2000 due to the amount of damage to the vehicle. I then realised the entire front end of the car was misaligned - each panel wasn’t lined up properly and overall looked as though it had been in a crash and hastily repaired. By this point I had wasted both my money and time getting quotes on the repairs for the vehicle that had been extremely misrepresented upon sale. I decided to return the vehicle. Gary was unable to explain the source of the damage to the vehicle. We arranged for a refund and return to take place. I still haven’t received the V5 for this vehicle meaning I’m unable to claim back the road tax. Undoubtedly Gary has now claimed this back himself and pocketed it. Gary has ignored my emails, requests for calls from the online customer service team and the customer service team themselves have yet to call me to resolve this although a formal complaint was made months ago. Would not trust this dealership at all. Stay away. Customer team - don’t you dare reply to this asking me to email you. You have my contact information and I’ve emailed and submitted complaints several times.

I'd had my previous car from Lookers around four years ago and had a bit of a poor experience with the sale, so had left a review on the points that weren't so good. Lookers were keen on resolving the issues and Gary (Manager) gave me a call to smoothen these out. Credit is due as they were keen to get things sorted. They found me a car at a good price and tweaked the finance to give a bit of an extra deal given the previous bad experience. I was in on the Saturday afternoon with handover of the new car sorted for the Monday. Impressive given the current circumstances. Daniel managed the sale and arranged everything from the test drive, to easily sorting the finance, clearly explaining each stage - extremely helpful throughout. Communication was much improved from last time too. Overall, really happy with the car, sale and experience. Refreshing to see a place recognise where some aspects haven't been great and improve on them the next time round. Minor issue with a small mark on the driver's door handle noticed after driving away, but no issue in resolving, just dropped in for it to be touched up. Definitely worth giving a try if you're looking for a car, but if you've previously been with them and not had a great experience, give them another shot. I was disappointed previously but they did a fantastic job second time round.

Edit 2. Cars been in for warranty work again , this time the stitching on drivers seat came apart. They fixed it in a timely fashion and to a decent quality however in the process they managed to scratch the hell out of the drivers sill. Honestly put me and my family off getting a car from Lookers again. It just seems that they could not give a toss about people’s property.
