My favorite WHSmith store. The shop is huge with lots of books, a huge range of magazines and stationery. They even have a bargain section downstairs, where the Post Office is located. It has everything you need. My only gripe is that it is expensive and long ques can build up at the checkout, as it is self service only.

Ideal, love the clearance part downstairs, the best place to go for stationary needs. Plus where else will you get a notebook like this?!

Oh good god the prices. Since 19 70's WH Smiths was always my last resort. I think this year will be their last on the high street. Staff great but senior management have their heads in the sand.

Not the shop I remember and used to love! They had actually completely run out of sellotape of all things and the Amazon gift card I wanted to buy would not work on their machine! I was informed that this was the case with all of the Amazon gift cards! Quick exit over to reliable Wilkos!

Great shop in general. Needs more staff on at the post office over lunchtime though. The queuing wait time is unsatisfactory. If you need to use post office desperately and do not have much time, I suggest that you plan ahead and remind yourself to go days before your deadline, because if you are in a hurry or on your lunchbreak you may have to leave before you are served.
