Really nice fish and chips and a good service
Used to be very good before the name changed. Now they get orders completely wrong more than half of the time and the food quality has gone downhill. Probably because the owner is a cheapskate and primarily only employs kids. Even the large fish is small and soggy, chips are either overcooked or undercooked if they remember to put them in, staff seem to think this business is a great joke. Online ordering is no guarantee, you have to phone too. Customer service terrible. Quite obvious why they are not on Just Eat, who give refunds. Used to have queues round the corner, now empty. Time to find a new chippy, you won't be missed when you go under Midgley's!
Fantastic fish and chips with crispy batter on fish also the largest and most crispy batterd fish fish cake I have had.
Popped in to grab some chips after dropping our son at uni. Didn't know the place but the chips were really good, best I've had in ages. Worth a pit stop if taking the scenic route from Leeds to the North West.
