What a wonderful idea, a cover for the hob! something I needed a long time ago but did not know it exists. I'm so glad I found HCD website to find such great covers. Excellent craftsmanship, fits perfectly on my hob and both strong and lightweight. I am very pleased with it, it helps me a lot and gives me more working space.

Just received my Hob Covers today and they look amazing. Would definitely recommend Hobcovers direct to all my friends and family. Thanks Colin for the speedy replies to all my emails and delivery.
Absolutely appalling level of after service! Though the item arrived in a timely manner (within 5days).. after opening the box I peeled the company’s logo sticker that’s situated on the top of the cover, which uncovered a particularly deep scratch (it’s almost as if the sticker was strategically placed on the damaged part).. I then informed the seller, sending numerous photos and angles of the damage upon request, to which in the end, he put the blame on to me (having opened the item just minutes ago). And claiming that the warranty is invalid and they will refuse to do anything about it as I peeled of the small sticker concealing the damage (it has to be noted, that this was a company logo sticker - and not a warranty sticker). I continued to then make contact via message and calls, with no response. Would never recommend to anyone!!
Further to your response above, As mentioned to yourself... the sticky back sticker (which was easily removable by peeling off with my finger) and also must reiterate a basic sticker (non warranty) is placed on top of the hob (making it unaesthetically pleasing - A bit of an eye sore ( especially with a minimalistic kitchen design) - I peeled it off and noticed the dent underneath (rather than peeling it off because I magically knew there was damage underneath) - I would imagine it was conveniently placed there to hide the damage!!! Also as mentioned to you, though you are right to state that the item was delivered a day before my contact with you - it’s because I have a concierge where the parcel was delivered. (This is also fully provable, as all parcels are electronically logged - and a full paper trail can be provided) I picked the parcel up the following day and immediately contacted you after noticing it.. AS ALSO mentioned, the other superficial scratches weren’t too much of a bother to me, if that is all that there was. The aftercare and your ignorance to then turn the blame on to me based on your assumptions is absolutely vile and appaling!!!
Much appreciated help and advice were given prior to ordering followed by very fast and efficient service in processing my order. The hob cover arrived and on seeing it in place I have no regrets about ordering it. The cover fits "like a glove": is a snug fit over the gas hob and is much more stable than the toughened glass covers previously in use. The hob cover has provided a sleek finish and has greatly enhanced the appearance of the area It is smart, lightweight and very well constructed and finished. Yes, there are cheaper hob covers marketed by other firms, but I have no regrets in purchasing this item and would highly recommend this business and its products. Allan H. H. Kaye.
Very quick and effortless service. Emailed my size requirements as needed a custom size. All made and delivered within a week. Looks very neat and professionally cut and folded metal. Harlequin design recommended for tall gas hob cover to break up otherwise quite plain sides. Would highly recommend hobcovers direct.
Absolutely brilliant service and brilliant product. I had a few questions about the hob cover before I bought one and emailed Colin beforehand. He got back to me within hours and nothing was too much trouble for him. My hob cover arrived just two days after ordering it and I'm absolutely delighted with it. It compliments my kitchen superbly, just what I was looking for.
