Treat student who work their arses off appallingly! Don’t grade your work properly and won’t do anything about it. Plenty of places who do similar distance learning courses with better reviews all round. Don’t waste your time, or years of your life for nothing - if you use a big word in a tutorial your tutor doesn’t understand (even though it’s in the module textbooks) you’re in for it all year. Good luck if you do try!

Check the Forbes rich list I think only 3 out of the 800 listed have anything higher than high school qualifications if that-big names bill and mark-drop outs, only once in their fortune did they get honorary (not to be confused with honours) degrees, probably cause of work not education!! My experience, need to be very internet savvy if distance learning, with the age of the “second internet E-boom” with no signs of a burst in that balloon maybe a good bet, studying computing and mathematical sciences has put me in good stead to further and higher education at residential college or uni and maybe even colleges or various training providers and the internet Information Age/highway but understand it is all very convoluted even studying at a residential uni/college understanding how they offered free college and uni back in the 70’s is anyone’s game and would probably require a PHD in itself. Only advice is to listen or at least try and adhere to any advice about picking the right level or competency for yourself with the open learn platform and various distance learning Resources out there like Alison online, Harvard online, OU platform etc etc there is just so much out there, good way to get away from the control measures of the gov i.e with the ready Brexit, but does any body care ‍️‍️‍️‍️??

Currently doing a course and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. A few years ago when the teachers openly interacted with their students and even help put you at ease, I would have highly recommended this way of education. Nowdays your teacher sends out a generic email to all of you introducing their self and that is it. The level of service currently being provided has been inadequate to say the least.

Loved studying ancient history and the holocaust with the Open University. Study at your own pace. Accredited free courses. Looking forward to starting my access for European history degree. Would definitely recommend.
