Newly renovated and newly opened. I was pleasantly surprised with the new place. It has been stylishly renovated to fit the style of the old building. The new owners are friendly, helpful and can’t do enough to make you feel welcome. The gardens are a fantastic place to enjoy a summers day drink. I enjoyed the atmosphere and ambiance of the the Moat House. Well done and all the very best with the new venture.

What a super venue with friendly staff restored sympathetically too.
The new owners have really pushed the boat out and made this place look amazing. It has such a great atmosphere, the staff are friendly and helpful. The building is outstanding and is unlike anywhere else. Defiantly a place to check out. Looking forward to food next year, and the up coming events

The owners are bringing it back to its Authentic History. Staff are helpful and polite. Beautiful Building full of history. Not serving food yet but will be 2020. A working progress looking forward to see it fully restored. Great pint open Thurs ,Friday. Sat. Sunday's to public. Beautiful place for a wedding . Corporate events.
So pleased this place is now partly restored, looking great so far, lovely to sit outside in the pretty garden area having a latte! So much work has been done so far on the interior and gardens, hope it continues with the same high standards. Lovely place for a drink, chat and relax in a very pleasant setting. We'll be back!
Celebrated a 40th Birthday with an afternoon tea in the library room, it was perfect, the food was truly delicious and it felt very private so the whole experience was very intimate, we all thoroughly enjoyed it. Absolutely LOVE LOVE what the new owners are doing to the Moat House and enjoyed the summer months in the garden! Had a National Trust feel to the Gardens this year! Highly recommend.
Had a lovely family meal here years ago. But what court my attention most of all was unexplained movement and a girl crying in the gents toilet area when there was nobody else about. An expirance of which I had evidence of As no one would believe me.
