Signed up to Mo's classes few fees before the holidays - to get some basic knowledge as to how to handle 6 months old in the water. The experience exceeded my expectations - Mo is very practical, focused and guides through every step of the training. He was also accommodating to all the requests we made, the customer experience I always appreciate.

My wife signed our 19 month old daughter for swimming lessons. She was instructed to pay in full 3 weeks before lessons started. We had agreed because the schedule he had worked for us. On the day of the first class, she showed up and he said he had changed the hour of the class without properly notifying us. He then offered a refund for the class. After several days of us trying to contact him for a refund and no reply from his side, we then proceeded to write a comment on his website about our bad experience. After seeing this review, he wrote my wife threatening legal action and said he was going to file a police report. All we wanted was a refund to be able to enroll our daughter in swimming lessons. He then proceeded to write nasty comments of my wife on her company linked in page. Outright lying! I then gave him a call to try to settle this peacefully and all I said was we wanted our money back. He said it was too late and that according to his terms and conditions, (7 day cooling off period) he wasn’t going to refund our money. He then responds that I tried to threaten him. Not true! I just wanted a refund. Please be careful when dealing with this person.
I have always avoided swimming with family and friends but wished I was joining in. I didn't like having my face in the water or being out of my depth after an incident during a school swimming lesson longer ago than I care to remember. I was determined to sort this out once I retired! Having had just four lessons with Mo, I wish I had done this years ago! He has instilled confidence and I have learnt so much already - I am swimming! I cannot say that I am a swimmer yet but I have booked more lessons and I will be swimming with my family on our next holiday! Thank you Mo for your patience and drive - you have given me the skills to participate in activities that I would have previously avoided. If anyone out there, is wishing they had the confidence to learn to swim but think it's too late, you need to think again and join Mo's swimming school!
My daughters favourite time of the week is in the swimming pool during swim lessons with Mo. He has taught her since the beginning. She’s still only a tiny but her confidence in the water is impressive. I highly recommend Mojo’s swim school to anyone looking to get their kids confident in the water. Thanks Mo!
Mo has been teaching our kids since they were 3 months old. Our eldest is now 3 and can swim unaided, no floats or adult assistance. Our youngest is 1 and she is a little water baby. Both kids love Mo. His classes are fun but fulfill everything we need in teaching our kids such an important life skill.
Highly recommend mo !!! I have a autistic daughter aged 5 and have been coming to mo swim school for about 7 weeks now , it’s a group session and Sadie is slightly more difficult to teach as she’s no verbal but mo has taken the time to build a relationship with her and now she’s coming along in leaps and bounds I have just rebooked for some one to one lessons and look forward to watching my daughter progress !! If anyone is thinking of getting their child swimming lessons then this is the place to be thankyou mo’s swim school x
My sons have been training at Mojo for 6 lessons and they can now swim on their own in water with roll ups He is friendly, my kids love the lessons and he is very innovative in his teaching ways
I am having adult swimming lessons with Mo. My swiming has always lacked real technique and I was limited to a rather dull breaststroke. What has worked well for me is learning in a pool that is warm and the class sizes are small. I can now swim 3 different stokes competently and continue to develop with guidance and advice. The pool is also all within standing depth which helps with confidence for more fearful swimmers. Within the group there is a bit of variation in each individual's experience with swimming but Mo is able to differentiate instructions and feedback to help each swimmer develop. I have been fortunate that I have no real fear of water but it has been amazing to watch more nervous swimmers flourish and gain skill and confidence. Mo is patient and encouraging and all the swimmers are supportive of one another. Mo is a very likeable teacher. He is friendly and relaxed and being an 'in water' instructor means he is able to demonstrate as well as instruct. There is a lot of positive feedback alongside tips for further development. I would, and do, happily recommend Mojo's Swim School.
