Night Sky Lanterns should be banned immediately, they are dangerous to the countryside and to livestock. If the individual selling them had any integrity whatsoever he would cease trading immediately. Shame!

Shameless self-promotion. The NHS and emergency services have ALL posted statements that they DO NOT want people to use your harmful product yet you persist with your advertising to raise funds for the NHS. You criticise the RSPCA for campaigning against them. You are heartless.

The National Fire Chiefs Council has warned a campaign encouraging the public to light sky lanterns in a show of solidarity for NHS workers is ‘misguided’. All emergency services are currently under increased pressure due to COVID-19. And the Fire and Rescue Services believes the suggestion that people should set off highly flammable lanterns – at a time when wildfires are likely to be on the increase due to the weather conditions – should be highly discouraged Oxfordshire Fire and Rescue Service are urging the public to look for alternative ways to show their support to the NHS. Lanterns are a fire hazard; pose a risk to livestock, agriculture, thatched properties and hazardous material sites. Almost 90 local authorities across the UK have banned the use of lanterns. We do not advocate the use of sky lanterns and we do not believe they should be used under any circumstances.

DO NOT SPEND YOUR MONEY ON A USELESS FIRE HAZARD! If you are lucky enough to have spare money, give it to a charity, that'd be much more helpful!

Do you realise the problems the free flying lanterns cause for wildlife & fire hazard? Quite frankly these things should be banned as once a lantern is in the air it ends up as litter, a wildlife killer, or a cause of a fire.
