Very busy but well stocked shop with the usual lots of offers and discounts. I went in hoping they'd have a particular coat I was looking for that was on special offer in my (large) size. They had the right one in the colour I was looking for and either a Caravan Club membership meant I had a further 15% off. We were courteously served by a young man and didn't feel in any way hurried. Great service price and products.

I bought some boots online from Mountain Warehouse, they looked lovely. My job is cold so I wanted fur for warmth and waterproof was essential. They were meant to be 90, I got them for half price, which I'm glad about as I wore them for work on the first day of having them and quite a lot of the coating came off on the front of the boot! It's like a section of it has been gouged! I don't know how it happened, but it shouldn't have happened on the very first time of wearing them! I was disappointed so I contacted them. The staff couldn't care less and said straight away it wasn't there fault and they couldn't replace them! I didn't mention it being anyones fault, but I was trying to say that it shouldn't happen! If I'd have paid 90 for these I'd have been mortified! I wasn't best pleased anyway. I could have got some better boots from elsewhere. Which I will be doing next time, seen as I need to buy some more soon as I can't see them being waterproof for long!

Popped into the Scarborough branch as they are having a closing down sale. I got a lovely pair of walking shoes which will also be handy on the beach! What a bargain!only 10...down from 40! Hubby also got a fabulous polo shirt for 7. Worth a look!

Sale is usually on and if you go in at the right time you can pick up a bargain or two. Quality clothing seems to last and is well made. Staff are good too.
