I met Adam back in October at Chichester Nuffield hospital, Following my MRI Adam decided to carry out a operation in November To release a tendon and cut some bone away from the back of my ankle, surgery was quite intrusive and took up to 2 hours, I met Adam after surgery and explain to me what happened and how everything went after a couple of hours I was back up on my feet, I felt very confident with Adam and his team, I was released from hospital later that afternoon I was advised that recovery will be up to 8 weeks and to follow Adams app for my rehabilitation this was a really simple way to carry out my daily exercises, we are now week six and my ankle is getting stronger and stronger by the day. I would like to thank Adam and his team, They made me feel confident the whole way through.

I am posting this review on behalf of my sister Shirley: I have suffered with a severe dropped foot for 7 years and had repeatedly been told by the NHS that, apart from wearing ugly orthotics, there was nothing that could be done to help me walk more naturally! Mr Ajis has been incredible since the moment I met him. He patiently discussed surgical options with me and I felt confident enough to proceed with an ankle fixation. The care and consideration I have received throughout the whole process has been exemplary and I am delighted with the result. I cannot thank Mr Ajis enough for what he has been able to do for me.

I saw Mr Ajis after sustaining a fracture of my 5th metatarsal which had not healed after a year. The pain was unbearable. He saw me promptly and took time to explain my condition with the help of x-ray images with assurances that he could fix the problem. I was advised by other clinicians to be patient and wait for the fracture to heal on its own. Mr Ajis said that healing would be highly unlikely without intervention. After numerous emails and 'phone calls to him he constantly spent the time reassuring me and patiently going over the intended procedure. To date after seeking advice and guidance from Mr Ajis, his secretary and the Physio Team and the insertion of a plate my fracture has united, I walk well, without pain and I have joined a walking group. In summary he is the best foot consultant the South of England can provide. In fact, I traveled from both the IoM and the IW to West Sussex to see him.
