Firstly customer service was shocking. We went in on the 4/12/20 and patronised by a slim man who had no idea of needs of customers with dogs. My employer was after a number of items for her lovely little dog and we left with nothing. This is a very wealthy Lady who has never left a shop without buy something. He kept saying we only sell short leads because that is what people in the city want. He obviously has his head in the sand. Go to any park or street in the Belgravia area and just look. He said we only do quality leather. This is what was required but the items we were shown were not of a high quality. The selection on offer was extremely poor. The harness we were shown looked as if it had come from a market stall. Surly Mungo and Maude could source a good quality extendable lead, that includes a leather factor. Just having the logo on the side would be worth it’s weight in marketing gold. Look at padded harnesses with good quality metal parts. Look at the fact your customers always have more than one home. Have a country as well as a so called city section. They have a good location but seem to lack all the factors of a luxury shop.

My dogs and I love Mungo & Maud. Noone can match their design, colours and quality. We like the webbing and leather collars, the beetle coats, bowls, blankets, everything! All items are so beautiful and delicate and we own many. Customer service has always been fantastic in store and online when we wanted to change sizing etc. One of my dogs has even won a photo competition, hopefully she will be invited for a photo shoot soon. :-) Thank you MM!
Lovely place to pick up a few things for the pooch
Such a lovely pet boutique. Beautiful products and attentive service. I didn't get the name of the man who served me but he was lovely and gave my dog cuddles and treats.
I was a regular customer of Mungo and Maud for around 8 years and always saw this as my go to place for my luxury pet accessories until recently. I have had an atrocious experience with them after buying a Bauhaus collar and lead set and a Vichy Olive dog bolster bed. At the time I felt that the cost was worthwhile as I was buying products that would last; however within four months of owning these items the colour was wearing off the collar and the bed had developed holes in the base. In both cases the items had been well cared for, so took them back to Elizabeth Street for inspection. The manager was helpful and accomodating, however head office are a completely different story, refusing to acknowledge that their was any flaw in their product, dismissing the photographs showing the condition of an eight year old dog bed and collar and leads that are in much better condition than my recent purchases. All I was offered was a 20% discount on my next purchase, which is frankly insulting. They have lost me as a customer and I would advise other existing or new shoppers to look elsewhere as there is no customer aftercare whatsoever.
I asked the staff if they carry a high end brand that I'm looking for and she responded with condescension, "No. You're in Mungo & Maud," and turned back to her phone. I just asked a question, I didn't realize that they only carry their own brand. I was about to buy a 200 pound dog bed for my living room and was wondering if they carried Teddy Maximus so I could pick up a lead as well. We did not purchase the dog bed and after being treated with such condescension we will not be going back, there are plenty of other high end pet boutiques in London.
Wonderful shop for all things for Dogs and Cats. A very helpful gentleman served us and we got some lovely things for our pampered Airedale Treacle! . Particularly buy their Eye Paw and Ear wipes for her.
Love their toys
