I'm very disappointed with MWG... I called them one week before my court case and I have explained that this is the final hearing and I asked for representation in court which I was told 500VAT. I paid straight away and send all necessary documents and someone supposed to contact me next day (never happened). Then 2 days before case I have received a phone call in the morning i forming me that because it is the \final hearing\ they need to take barrister and it will cost me additional 1500VAT. I called them back 30 minutes later to say that I want to go ahead so lady at reception told me she will get back to me... She got back to me 15:40 informing me that my cost will be not 1500 but 2000VAT for barrister and 500VAT for them to instruct barrister. Can you imagine? They hold me until 2 days before case just to tell me that I need to pay alot more? Or so I just don't have choice and and pay that amount to them? Very disappointed... Very unprofessional... And rip off. I found barrister myself who charged me 1000VAT and they asked me to pay 2500VAT for same thing. AVOID!!!

Manner in which I was spoken to after being recommended to use them was appalling. The person answering the phone says something totally contradictory to the person allegedly working on the case then one gets made to feel that their purchase is not as appealing as other conveyancing they have done as it is not profitable for them ! Avoid using Wajid he is too ‘busy’ to exercise basic manners & will disconnect the call mid conversation ! Not everyone can afford a huge property but no one should be belittled for it either
