Visiting the furthest reaches of the Isle of Skye will definitely land you on its western-most coast. Prepare for gale force winds! The views are spectacular and if you time it correctly, you can witness perfect sunsets behind the lighthouse and or cliff ledge. A must do for anyone visiting the island!

That's the best place in the Isle of Skye, especially at the sunset timing. However, I suggest to go back before the sky going dark because the road back to city is narrow and a lot of turning point. It's not easy to drive at the night. I really enjoy the sunset at the Neist point, super warm and romantic. Just remark that this area is very very windy!

A wonderful landscape for a hour tour in nature with small uphill and downhill track, you always find a good picture opportunities, postcard linke!! The light house is also the highlight, you can imagine there easily, how a safe and excited feeling for sailors after a few months on a long tedious and risky journey accompanied by huge waves and whining wind... Driving there to the parking place is somehow a small adventure, the road is a litte off-way like, the parking place is very often full, so that many cars have to park just along the narrow road to the parking place, and if you are a foreigner getting used only the left steering wheels:-)

A wonderful place. You feel as though you’re on the very edge of the world.
