Fantastic service at very reasonable prices. My violin needed some work on scratches and then a deep clean and set up. He worked with me to get the tone and balance as good as it could be. I can't recommend this knowledgeable gent highly enough.

Ben carried out some sound adjustments to my cello a good while ago and fitted a new set of strings - I was looking to get a bit more volume out of it and for the tone across the range of the instrument to be a bit more even. He was very patient and detailed in working on this and I was so impressed with the difference it made to my cello - very happy. It has needed no attention since, I recall the cost being very reasonable too. I also had the pleasure of playing a cello which Kate had made, and can only say anyone getting chance to own an instrument like that is very fortunate, it was lovely to play.
I took my 'cheap' 100 violin into Ben, 2 days later he had transformed it into a very lovely musical instrument for less than half as much as the original price. Absolutely recommend checking in here even with a starter instrument.
