First review I have ever left but felt compelled after truly terrible experience. Car sold with residual service plan, only for it later to transpire not to be valid due to erroneous and incomplete service history on sale. I understand that mistakes happen but the manner in which the issue was dealt with was simply awful. With multiple emails sent to sales manager with no response, I actually visited the showroom to resolve matters only to be informed there wasn't anyone available and that I would receive a call back. My wife and I were so disheartened by the quality of service that we actually part exchanged the Discovery having owned it for less than a year. Still waiting for that call back...

Awful experience, buy elsewhere. Paid a deposit on a 70 plate Discovery 5 Landmark, completed the paperwork and then zero contract from Pentland despite calling and emailing numerous times to get an update from the salesman. I buy cars every 2-3 years and this garage is by far the worst expereince I have had. Salesman finally called after 10 days of leaving messages so I cancelled my order! I have now bought with ease from Guy Salmon with free delivery from Bristol to Edinburgh, upgraded HSE model and a dealer contribution. John Clark you need to overhaul your customer servcie standards!

I purchased the last of the iconic Land Rover Discovery's 4 years ago and to date it has done 40,000 miles. Have just been given a bill of 1,200 for Steering and Drive Shaft issues and excessive rust on the underside. Land Rover say this is a common fault with their cars and nothing unusual. So much for the rugged off-road vehicle I thought I had bought.
