John McNeil, the experienced kitchen designer behind Haus12 is now introducing brand new kitchen brands from the showroom’s unique railway arch location. Three times as big as the Jesmond studio, it has enabled Haus12 to showcase more mid- to high-end premium German kitchen furniture. Design and service are both extremely important to McNeil and he is pleased that both have been recognised by interior design website Houzz, awarding him Best of Houzz for the 4th consecutive year. As a result of his commitment to great customer service and design he has been awarded Best of Houzz 2017-19 for Service, and Best of Houzz 2016 in both Design and Service categories. Haus12 works with German kitchen brand Rempp Küchen, offering a range of high gloss lacquers, wood in various types and finishes, veneer, glass, concrete and luxurious real stone. The showroom is also an AEG Premier Partner and Cosentino Elite Studio. Other brands on display in the Newcastle store include Spekva worktops, Fisher & Paykel appliances and BORA extractors. John, and his infectious enthusiasm, made the design process exciting and very enjoyable. The 3d modelling made the process very transparent and allowed us to fully understand the implications of any adjustment to the layout and detailing. The installation team were superb, extremely accommodating and committed to high quality. The whole process from start to finish and after handover has been great. Additional tweeks being accommodated without fuss and always to the timescales agreed. The quality of the products has been exactly as expected so hope that we have opportunities to work with John and his team in the future

Being asked the question once our new kitchen had been installed \are you happy with the final result?\ was the simplest of all questions to answer! \We absolutely adore it!\ At first for the first two weeks it felt like we were living in swanky rented accommodation, since the transformation was massive. All the family want to congregate within it now, which is super because it has extracted the kids from out of their bedrooms into a much more enjoyable and family social environment. This has got to be one of the largest perks and certainly worth it all. From the planning and designing stages John was extremely thorough, methodical and creative. Very little did we want to change from what was initially proposed. He took all our ideas into consideration and simply converted the project into something we adore and will enjoy for many years to come. The fitters again were super, they arrived on time and worked whatever hours were necessary to get the job complete and to a very high standard i would like to add. We would certainly recommend John and his team, he's a credit to the industry.

I needed a large kitchen designed at very late notice. John the designer listened throughout to our needs and came up with some great ideas. Through a combination of really good design and practicality we have a really well thought out and beautiful kitchen. From the very start until the end I can honestly say the service has been excellent, John is certainly not pushy he listens to your needs and then discusses solutions to the problems. We use this kitchen and all of the small and big ideas for space and usage have worked out to exactly match our needs. I can't recommend enough.

Always very responsive and not afraid to design to push conventional design boundaries, John's attention to detail is second to none complemented by a great installation team.
