As a family mediator and a non-practising family solicitor I've been aware of Major Family Law for some years. One of the unexpected upsides of COVID has been that a move to work more collegiately between practitioners now does not have geographical limitations. As we're all working online practitioners from the North and the South can easily work together. This provides greater opportunities for working with practitioners that are further away from me but which I have always had enormous professional respect for. I really like the non-adversarial and constructive approach that has been taken by Major Family Law combined with their friendly but professional approachability.

I contacted Charles for advice after being charged with being Drunk in Charge. I have previously been convicted of Drink Driving, several years before, so didn’t hold much hope of a good result, especially since the court decided to increase my new charge to Drink Driving. Unfortunately, Charles couldn’t represent me in court as I’m based in London however, he kept in constant contact with me throughout and outside of my court appearances to offer me help and guidance, made himself available should I need his expertise (which I usually did!) and ensured I was confident and informed enough to attend my appearances alone. I received the best possible outcome I could from my case, and can confidently say that it certainly wouldn’t have happened without Charles’ help throughout.
