The Meditation is fine but you have to listen to a lot of talking before hand....and it is a bit repetitive. I know it is a Buddhist centre but I don't want so much Buddhist propaganda...I just want quiet time. I go instead to the Newcastle meditation centre now which is ideologically neutral.

A beautiful space for meditation and learning about Buddhist teachings. Newcastle Buddhist Centre has their own space at last! Friendly people (you can ask them anything) and a welcoming atmosphere. An oasis in the city just near the bike shops on Westgate Rd, very near Discovery Museum. Highly recommended xx
First experience, very welcoming and will definitely be going back to delve further into mindfulness, meditation and learning.
Amazing place to grow as a human being, learn an outstanding amount of the buddhas teachings in a healthy, spacious inviroment. Filled with wonderful people wanting to change the world.
I used to go there for meditation and it's great, nice people, cool ambience
