Stopped taking rubble waste until next year. Who’s great idea was that? We get a very poor service from this council, what do we pay our tax for?

It's a disgrace this queuing arrangement st Newburn tip. Opening up at 10am . Why ? No wonder people fly tip . Waiting 90 minutes to access the tip . What a joke .

Absolutely appalling staff and badly run at Walbottle Tip. I turned up, large queue right out on main road, when got in eventually, there were car places not being used, but staff just standing around chatting in sunglasses, none seemed to want to work, not letting people know there were places further up. Such a disorganised place. I had an operation on my knee and kindly asked for some help to lift an item from back seat, (just wanted him to hold one end)he said I cannot touch anything in a car. I said its just hanging on the edge, you nowhere near car to scrape.NO HE DID NOT WANT TO DO IT. I risked injury and managed eventually myself, but even when out the car, he did not want to help. Rather stand watch a disabled person struggle. The whole attitude and body language was one of laziness and arrogance. Why not fire them and get some staff that really want a job and to help people, theres plenty looking for work. I was not the only one complaining, others were not happy about the staff while I was there. What happened to common courtesy and a little helpfulness these days.

Bin collection today, but the crew 'lost' a bag, left in the middle of the road to be run over by vehicles, it can happen, right? However, when reported, I was advised \Up to 10 days\ to remove the offending article! Is that reasonable? In 10 days the original bin lorry will be back anyway, so not a lot of reason to report such issues.
