Having multifocal refractive lens exchange to both eyes has been an extremely positive, life changing experience for me. I never have to wear glasses! I have achieved 20:20 vision within 24 hours of having the procedure. I have no pain or problems and I feel so much more confident moving around without having to wear glasses. I'm absolutely thrilled with my new lenses.

I am so pleased I chose Optical Express Newcastle to have my Complete Multi Lens replacement. From the beginning I felt in very safe hands. Everything was explained very clearly and the procedures in place were first class. All the staff at Optical Express are very friendly and professional. You felt totally at ease with everyone including the surgeons who are world class. There's nothing to be frightened about and I would totally recommend this procedure as I now do not need to wear glasses or contact lenses ever again as my sight is now 20 20 vision. Very very happy with the end result.

After 30 years of wearing lenses and varifocal glasses I decided to take the plunge and get lenses replacements as laser wasn’t an option because it would only last 5 years with my current prescription. On my first visit We had the unfortunate experience of being evacuated just before my tests began because of a fire alarm and had to reschedule my appointment. My second visit was more successful and a lovely lady called Jean did my tests and talked me through the finance options and procedure. The day of my surgery I turned up in a blizzard and all the staff had made it in too so my surgery went ahead . The procedure itself only took roughly 15 minutes , it’s odd lying there knowing someone is operating on your eyes as you can’t see or feel much, and the staff constantly make sure your comfortable, The aftercare is excellent too with regular check ups and a phone call . To sum it up... the team at Newcastle are friendly and professional from the reception to the surgery room. DidI make the right decision ? ..... 100% my only regret is I didn’t do it sooner and I can say this only 3 weeks after my surgery . Anyone thinking of having it done... go for it , you’ll not regret it .

Excellent service. I recently had iDesign lasik surgery. I was made to feel secure, safe and all of my questions and queries were answered. The staff were personable, friendly and made me assured I was going to be looked after. I've since recommended Optical Express to others, as I never felt pressured and can not fault what is one of the best decisions I have ever made.
