ACS reviewed and updated the safeguarding policy for Equity Partnership LGBT charity in Bradford. They were very professional and turned the work around quickly and to a very high standard. I only know of ACS as a result of seeing posts on LinkedIn from Josie Winter. I suspect that like my own business, ACS go about their work, professionally and anonymously. The current climate has highlighted the work that ACS does, and brought that work into the public domain. Josie posts articulate, factual and very clear information, made understandable to wider community thanks to the way Josie constructs her postings. Josie often refers to herself as the ‘bug lady’, and I am advised this nick name is as a result of looking for bugs with her swab-stick during her work auditing different healthcare organisations. We are now all looking for the Covid-19 bug and the work that ACS does, performing audits related to infection control using live bacterial count swabbing is now very much in the public field of view. I think the work ACS does will be in much more demand in the future as we emerge into a new world where the consequences of Covid-19 remain with us for years to come, infection control audits will become much more important to all residential and commercial settings. I hope that Validair can have an opportunity to collaborate with Josie and her team at ACS in the future.
