We were dealing with a different firm on the remortgage of our existing property who were selected by the lender so we were able to make a direct comparison between the quality of service. DO NOT USE! Should be 0 Star. Absolutely shocking customer service. We are buying a flat as first time buyers with no chain and its taken over 3 months. They do not respond to our emails, or calls and are impossible to contact after taking your money. Not only are they elusive to contact but they got our properties address wrong and spent over 1 month ordering searches on the WRONG property. Even after telling them multiple times that they had the property address wrong. Then they even had the audacity to try and charge us again for THEIR mistake! The buyer says they will pull out if they do not hear from them by the end of the week with any meaningful process. I wonder if they will actually do anything about this since righting a review here is the only way I can hope this terrible company will actually do the job we paid them for. An absolute scam, unprofessional and full of incompetence. I would not trust them to know the difference between their hands and feet. If you do not want to waste your money, time and the property you intend to buy use absolutely anyone else. If we loose this property I will be taking this to court. I can't recommend Tanya Harding at Collinbourne Hennah highly enough. Faced with an expiring mortgage offer and the need for a quick turn around Tanya advised that while she couldn't make any promises in such a short window, she would do her best to deliver and she did. Tanya was clear and concise at every stage of the process and the online case management system that Collingbourne Hennah use make it easy for everyone to understand where in the process you are at all times. I was referred to Tanya at Collingbourne Hennah via my broker and The Moving Hub but I wouldn't hesitate to use Tanya again for future remortgages. It was an absolute pleasure.

I am buying my property for the first time and dealing with CH Law has definitely been the worst part. Like other 1 star reviews state, you can never get hold of them. They never answer the phone and emails just get ignored. They were instructed over 4 months ago to help with the purchase and it is still not complete. They do not give any update on how far they are into the case. If you do ever manage to get hold of someone they apologise and assure you that things will change only for it to go back to no communication. It is not an exaggeration to say this is the worst service I have received from any company ever. Even today I am still waiting for an update on my case. Have emailed 3 times for all to be ignored. The stress this causes is unimaginable. I truly wish I had just got with another firm. I understand that everyone's experience is different. So maybe I have been unlucky with the service I have received. But I wish I had never laid eyes on this company. My advice would be to avoid this company pay a little more and get less stress.

Took quite a long time to process this sale despite there being no chain or mortgage however, this has been due to covid and restrictions with people working etc so totally understandable
