Great customer service from Cornwall Car hire before, during and after hire. We loved our little hire car (named Susan by the kids), the pick up at St Austell train station was easy (as was the drop off) and the car was perfect. Also the way the team dealt with my panic about paperwork whilst on the train was wonderful - we can't wait to come back to Cornwall and hire from you again!

Looked great from all the recommendations, so made a booking and received an email confirming all the details. 1 hour later, received another email saying no cars available. Shame they send a confirmatory email before actually checking they have the cars. So be aware, a confirmed booking wouldn’t appear to be quite as confirmed as you might hope. My response: The simple fact is that you sent me an email entitled RESERVATION CONFIRMATION. This made no mention of it being either provisional or subject to further confirmation. You then emailed me 70 mins later to say no cars available. I made plans based on a ‘confirmed’ reservation which then got cancelled. My feedback is that you should not send an email confirming a reservation which you then cancel, unless in extremis (I don’t believe there were any extreme situations). You refer back to clause 6 which is as you stated, but made no mention that this clause could be applied AFTER you had confirmed the reservation. May I respectfully suggest that you review your processes to ensure your customers are not given the impression that a reservation is confirmed, if it isn’t.
Really grateful to Cornwall Car Hire for the hire of a comfortable, reliable car during a difficult trip away recently. It made a big difference. Lovely selection of cars, best prices, and brilliant customer service. Will definitely be a returning customer, and will definitely recommend to others. .

Wow, what a fantastic service!!! From my original phone enquiry, through to the booking system, delivery which was bang on time, explanation on site of the car operation and all encapsulated by a friendly, re-assuring and efficient team who were on call at any time. Thank you so much. I highly recommend this company and will definitely book again.
