I can highly recommend Simon Herbert and South West Free Energy Ltd. Simon was the only individual who actually listened to what I was trying to achieve. He provided a bespoke set-up with ground mounted solar panels - battery storage and electric car charging point along with cable installation for a future building. Nothing was too much trouble and he certainly knows what he's doing. He's a busy chap, so a reply can occasionally take a day longer than you might want - but its a small price to pay for his expertise. We've cut the cost of our electricity from the grid by two thirds. Thank you Simon.

Simon is undoubtedly the best in the west! He gives personal attention all the way through the planning, installation and deals with all the paperwork. The panels had to be removed after about 9 years as we had to have a new roof...all sorted within a few hours. MAGIC!!

We moved to a newly built house in July 2018, 220 sq m, all electric and decided to look into having PV panels installed. Simon was recommended by a neighbour who had used his company previously. We arranged for a visit and Simon presented all the details with paperwork and cost but never made any attempt to try and get a deal, leaving it up to us to get in touch if interested. We were and at the end of November we had 28 panels fitted. In the following year we contacted Simon for advice several times and he responded immediately. Nothing seems to be too much trouble for him and our most recent contact for advice was last week! We decided that in Jan 2020, we now had a full calendar year of generation data, income and cost of electricity and looked at the figures. Cost of electricity used, 606, FIT and ET paid to us 605, total electricity cost for 1 year, 1!! This was better than the figures Simon gave us which we felt this was a good indication that he didn't try to over-sell the panels. We realise that it's no longer to get the FIT and ET, but we still calculate we have saved between 650 - 700 on electricity costs. Would we recommend South West Free Energy and Simon? Without reservation.

Simon from SW free Energy was brilliant at sorting out a problem with my Solax battery solar system which had not been working properly for several months. The original installer made 7 visits and failed to work out what was wrong - Simon came around once and got it working properly. He also identified the reason I had been losing solar generation since the new system was installed by another company. He gave me some advice on how to approach the original installer to get it fixed! Can't recommend Simon enough, thank you very much.
