Wonderful buildings some parts still intact and sooooo peaceful. We had it all to ourselves the day we visited. The history fascinated me as i had also visited some of the other sites connected to it, it brought the history alive. A million photographs now reside in my camera. A wee added bonus was the cute donkeys in the field beside the abbey.

A beautiful ruin of what would have been a little hidden treasure of an Abbey. Well worth a visit.

Had the whole place to ourselves, some parts are really intact. Fascinating to walk around and imagine what life must have been like for the monks.

This ancient abbey is a truly amazing and tranquil space. Hundreds of years of history in the fabric of the buiding. Truly magical.

This place is stunning - and deceiving! Be sure to go inside - it doesn't look like much from the outside, but then to walk in and through - is really quite large with the cloister in tact/restored - the acoustics are heavenly.
